This applies to the ingredients of Cuckoo Ice Cream as well as to the distances these ingredients travel. Whenever possible, we rely on products from Switzerland: Swiss whole milk and Swiss full cream ensure the wonderfully creamy texture of Cuckoo Ice Cream and help the natural flavors develop.

All of our ingredients are, of course, natural and of exceptionally high quality – our ice cream makers personally vouch for this. That’s why we don’t use artificial flavors or colors for Cuckoo Ice Cream. We rely on pure recipes, on the essence of good taste. It’s that simple.

The Freshness of the Taste

With experience, passion, and a taste for that little something extra, the Cuckoo makers have created a collection of 22 flavors of Cuckoo Ice Cream, and each one is simply unbelievably good.

Our mix, produced to the highest quality standards, is frozen in pouches and can be delivered to the boutiques on demand. There, our ice cream is whipped fresh daily, so our customers can enjoy the full freshness of the taste.

We currently operate three ice cream boutiques in Bern, Lucerne and Basel and would like to continue to grow with our franchisees.

Blend of vanilla aged in oak barrels

To achieve this unique taste, two varieties of vanilla,
noble Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar and flowery vanilla
from Papua New Guinea,
mature in barrels.

80% Grand Cru combined with Swiss milk

Pure happiness in the mouth! The color is surprisingly light, but the taste incredibly intense. Because we only use chocolate, rather than cocoa powder.

A unique round taste.
An exclusive roast by Swiss master roasters and cold brewed.

tangerines, apricots and peaches.

Pure and very aromatic milk

Milk is not necessarily milk.
The Swiss hay milk in our ice cream inspires
with its exceptionally intense flavor,
especially because it is only very slightly sweet.

Double cream with a little extra

A sensational accompaniment to Cuckoo sorbet.
“Normal” Gruyère double cream contains 45% fat,
but in our creation, we increase it to 55%.

Greek yogurt combined with Swiss quality

Pleasantly soft, wonderfully smooth and very, very creamy.
For connoisseurs who appreciate minimalism.
The yogurt is not heated during its production,
so that the bacteria in the yogurt are preserved.

Just like the old fashioned way: vigorous and creamy

Finally, a caramel ice cream that doesn’t just taste sweet,
but a slightly creamy and vigorous caramel.

Piedmont hazelnuts and Swiss mountain salt

You can feel the 10% nut content.
The hazelnuts are roasted to perfection.
A touch of salt helps contrast the sweetness and
helps release the nutty taste even more.

The queen of pistachios, the Turkish “Mawardi”

Lots of pistachios (9%) with subtle roasting
and gentle processing guarantee
the best pistachio flavor.

The Belgian original, nothing more, nothing less

The original caramel biscuit from Belgium.
The combination of caramel, biscuit and a touch of cinnamon
diffuses all the flavors, without losing a bit.

88% Criollo Grand Cru – it’s hard to have more chocolate

For lovers of truly dark chocolate.
This sorbet (!) is exceptionally creamy;
and that without eggs, without milk, without cream.

Pure fruity pleasure and natural sweetness

A fruit content of 55% gives our raspberry ice cream
a distinct aromatic intensity while guaranteeing
a typical raspberry red color.

An Indian princess in the world of Swiss ice cream

As much mango as possible: 55% is in our sorbet.
This variety, named “Alphonso”, from India,
is saffron colored and seduces with its slight bitterness.

“Noir de Bourgogne” for a wonderful sorbet

Blackcurrant fanatics know that this variety is used
in the original Crème de Cassis liqueur. In our sorbet,
however, there is no alcohol, only the robust and tangy fruit.

Explosion of South American flavors

A creation with fiery temperament and hot blood.
Its extremely high fruit content is the guarantee
of unparalleled pleasure.

Strawberries for gourmets – “Mara des Bois”

With 60% fruit, this sorbet is extremely fruity.
“Mara des Bois” tickles the palate with an
intense flavor of wild strawberries. As if you just picked it yourself

Complex lemon flavor, enhanced with yuzu juice

This sorbet is by no means too sour, but very powerfully lemony
and surprisingly juicy.
To achieve this, we rely on first-class Spanish lemons and
a light touch of yuzu. We completely forgo lemon zest.

Pure coconut milk for pure coconut taste

From juicy coconuts, a creamy coconut milk is created,
